an open letter

Dear Isiah Washington:

Even if T.R. Knight is a publicity monger, he didn't MAKE you say "I never called T.R. a faggot" at the Emmys. That was all you. Way to show the world you are: A. a homophobic asshat and B. a sore loser because your stupid mouth got you fired. Now shut the goddamn hell up.

...can't believe it...

since I got home almost a month ago, my dog Bear has been acting strangely. he hasn't been eating (v.v. peculiar for him) and just hasn't had any pep at all. when we got him 10 ten years ago (nearly, anyway, in August) the vet estimated he was about five years old. my brother and mom and i took him to the vet on Saturday, who ran labs, and determined yesterday that he had acute kidney disease. my sister took him back in this morning, in hopes they could flush his system out and get his kidneys healthy again, but when looking at it further, they realized his kidneys had pretty much shut down. they told us we could take him home, and it'd only be a matter of time...but my brother and i (who picked him out at the shelter originally) decided we didn't want him to suffer. at 5:15, after the hardest work day i've ever endured, the four of us were in the room with him when we put him down.

i can't believe he's gone.
